Practical examples of deepwater turbidite seismic attribute characterization in South America

  • 摘要: 复杂沉积区地震资料质量通常较差,叠前深度偏移不仅可以改善复杂沉积区成像,同时能够提高资料信噪比和分辨率并压制多次波以突出深层反射。以南美洲一深水油田为例,利用叠前深度偏移地震数据提取表征沉积特征的地震属性,融合几种地震属性并利用三原色谱调色技术,清晰刻画深水浊积沉积几何特征。在钻探评价井的基础上,基本搞清该深水浊积岩的平面展布特征,为优选评价井位提供技术保障。

     

    Abstract: The seismic data quality in complex deposit zone is generally poor.The prestack depth migration imaging can not only improve the imaging quality in complex depositional area,but also can improve the signal-to-noise ratio and resolution so as to suppress multiple waves and highlight the deep reflection.By taking a deepwater oilfield in South America as an example,with the use of the pre-stack depth migration seismic data,the seismic attributes of sedimentarycharacteristics can be extracted. Meantime,with several other seismic attributes and San yuan chromatographic toning technology,the deepwater turbidite deposition geometric features can be clearly depicted.On the basis of the appraisal well drilling,the distribution characteristics and the vertical reservoir thickness of deepwater turbidite have been basically made clear,which can provide technical support for optimizing the well location.
