Abstract: An enquiry system,which was based on intercon-nection network and under the support of geologic dia-gram base,image base and data base,was established without installing any special software at the user end of the network.Users can carry out simple,type,key words and self-definition enquiries of geologic vectorgraphs and images on the internet or intranet.Dynamic enquiry of16kinds of geologic statements and real -time analysis of four kinds of mathematical statistical diagrams of forma -tion data can be performed.
