Abstract: Located in the northeastern of the Tarim basin,Kongquehe area is relatively complex because of Kuruktag fault and multi-tectonic movement,and experienced five evolutionary phases:passive margin basin stage,squeeze reversal ancient noses form stage,craton depression stage,craton depression basin development stage,and foreland like basin development stage.The Cambrian and Ordovician hydrocarbon source rocks reservoirs are widespread in Kongquehe area,which have a good hydrocarbon accumulation conditions and tight gas exploration prospects.Based on hydrocarbon source rock,reservoir caprock combination and dense gas reservoir research,and combined with the wells data,this paper provides exploration recommendation among the favorable tectonic belt.
