Abstract: It is introduced the characteristics,development process and exploitation technique of 42 block Qigu formation pool in Kelamayi oilfield.A set of drilling and completion technique suitable to regular vertical well rig to drill thick oil horizontal well is formed.Practice shows that the development of using the technique of straight well and horizontal well in shallow thick oil can enhance the production of individual well and the integrated development efficiency.
