Abstract: This paper analyzes several relevant problems on the latest SY/T5322 - 2000 standards of casing strength design, discusses emphatically the formulas of triaxial tensile strength and computational method of effective external pressing load of casing in the new standards, and corrects several formulas in the new standards. It also compares the calculation methods of internal pressure load in the new standards with that in the old standards.
