沅麻盆地牛蹄塘组页岩气勘探前景分析

  • 摘要: 对雪峰隆起周缘野外露头下寒武统牛蹄塘组暗色泥页岩特征和保存条件深入研究表明,雪峰隆起沅麻地区早古生代是一个统一的被动大陆边缘,早寒武世牛蹄塘期为陆棚相-盆地相沉积环境,是下寒武统暗色泥页岩的有利相带。牛蹄塘组暗色泥页岩有机碳含量普遍较高,脆性矿物含量高;基质孔隙、微裂缝发育,吸附能力强,同时具有良好的顶底板条件,埋深条件适中,深凹陷部断层不发育,保存条件良好。研究认为,沅麻盆地草堂凹陷和辰溪凹陷牛蹄塘组具有优越的页岩气形成地质条件,是南方下寒武统页岩气勘探开发又一重要地区。

     

    Abstract: According to deep studies on dark mudstone and shale of Niutingtang formation of lower Cambrian from outcrops around Xuefeng uplift and preserving conditions analysis,Yuanma basin in Xuefeng uplift was found to be a united passive continental margin in early Paleazoic and it belonged to shelf-basin environment in Niutitang stage of early Cambrian,which provided favorable facies belt for sedimentation of dark mudstone and shale of lower Cambrian.The dark mudstone and shale in Niutitang formation possesses the characteristics of high TOC,high brittle minerals contents,well developed pores,micro-fractures and good absorbing capacity,at the same time it has favorable bottom and up plates,favorable depth,undeveloped faults in deep depression and favorable preserving conditions.The study results indicate Caotang depression and Chengxi depression in Yuanma basin have good geological conditions for shale gas accumulation,and they are important areas for shale gas explora-tion in lower Cambrian in southern China.
