Experimental study of CO_2 gas overlapping effect mechanism in hydrocarbon reservoirs

  • 摘要: 通过微观可视化实验和理论推导,研究了CO2气体在油藏中的超覆作用规律。从实验结果及理论推导分析来看,CO2气体在封闭的地层环境中依靠密度差而产生超覆作用的能力较弱,单一的气泡不可能自发运移;连续气泡需要聚合形成一定长度的气柱,气柱浮力大于贾敏效应的阻力后,才能产生超覆作用。

     

    Abstract: By microscopic visualization experiments and theoretical derivation,the regularity of CO2 gas overlapping effect mechanism in hydrocarbon reservoirs has been studied.From the experimental results and theoretical derivation analysis,under closed formation environment the CO2 gas overlapping effect depending on density difference is weak,and the single bubble could not have spontaneous migration,while continuous bubbles need to form a certain gas column length.When the bubbles column buoyancy is greater than the Jamin effect of resistance,the overlapping effect can be formed.
