Abstract: This paper introduces the components of geosteering technology and its development status both at home and abroad, discusses the content, target and scope of geosteering application-oriented leading geologic modeling study, and presents specific practical study methods. Leading geologic modeling can be used to realize geosteering drilling operation and whole reservoir development, thus it has a prosperous future.
