Abstract:
Huff and puff effect and thermal efficiency decrease as thermal recovery of thin and shallow heavy oil enters into medium or long cycle stages. In order to effectively utilize thermal energy several technologies are studied including rational effective and dynamic steam allocation technology optimization of opportunity to put weak and medium flooded reservoirs into production and production potential tapping in medium to thick heavy oil reservoirs. Field appoication of these technologies increase utilization efficiency of thermal energy realizes stable production of heavy oil and lowers the overall decline rate of thermal recovery.
